Bulan

Bulan, a university student, finally decided to take a short break from her study after studying for quite some time. While she was trying to find a book for her research, something on the bookshelf caught her eyes since it clearly looked different from other books. It was a children’s storybook, The Legend of Terunggari; a short but interesting storybook. Something in the story caught her attention, in which the main character of the storybook, Ribau, had a very similar amulet to hers. Suddenly, she was caught in a blinding light, which originated from the amulet she was wearing. She then found herself in the middle of a forest, alone. After some time looking around in the forest, she met a group of people. After discussing with members of the group, it was decided for her to follow them since the forest could be very dangerous at night. The group of people were actually villagers trying to find a boy who was taken away by their guardian, Terunggari. She learnt that the boy’s name was Ribau, and realized that she, herself, was trapped in the storybook. She felt that she had to finish the story before going back to her own world.
